Week of 6/01/14

Dear Parents,

We wanted to update you on a few upcoming events.  We will be having our State finals for Bible quizzing on June 6th & 7th.  Our children have been doing a wonderful job learning, memorizing and quizzing.  

Also, our VBS program will be held on July 22nd-24th.  We will begin registration this month in Crosswords bookstore.  

Please take time out to answer the polling question, so we can share feedback with our staff.

Adventure Zone Ages 2 – 5

Lesson Title:  Jesus Heals a Lame Man

Scripture Reference:  John 5

Memory Verse:  Jesus heals us when we are sick.

Lesson Objective:  Jesus can do anything we ask.

Adventure Zone Ages 6 – 11

Lesson Title:  The Great Rescue

Scripture Reference:  Acts 4:12

Memory Verse:  “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.” 1 John 3:16

Lesson Objective:  Jesus Christ died for our sins.

Discovery Zone (Thursday evening classes)

Toddler Ages 3-5

Lesson Title:  The Children Praise Jesus

Memory Verse:  The Lord will bless me

Lesson Objective:  We will be teaching that Jesus loves the praises of children.

Ages 6 - 8

Lesson Title:  Peter Preaches Salvation

Memory Verse:  “For this promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Acts 2:39

Lesson Objective:  The Holy Ghost is for everyone to receive.

Ages 9-11

Lesson Objective:  We will teach the children that we need God's word, Godly leaders and fellowship with His people.
